Best Strip Lashes

Cristie on Instagam asks:

“I have been without lash extensions for WEEKS 😭
What’s your favorite strip lash?”

I’m asked this a lot, and I will tell you my favorites. But first let me point out that the lashes I buy for my pro kit will likely not be the same ones I recommend for you.

For my kit I usually buy lashes wholesale in bulk from manufacturers. There is no brand, no fancy packaging, and a mass variety of all styles to choose from. I also do quick re-ups at pro makeup stores in LA like Nigel’s and Naimies. All can shop here but they carry pro supplies and offer a pro discount. This allows me to keep high quality lashes in a range of styles in stock for the lowest price.

Now, for The Best Strip Lashes!

  1. Huda Beauty Lashes
Started by Iraqi-American, Muslim Mogul, Girl Boss - Huda Kattan, Huda lashes are for people who want LASHES. FOR. DAYS. Ultra Glam - For The Gram type lashes. They’re not playing.

But the reason I love them is because of the lash band. It’s very sturdy and 👉🏽very rounded👈🏽.
The classic problem with strip lashes is lifting in the corners. Because this band is already sooo rounded, it literally hugs your eye - preventing any lifting. Thank you Huda!

  2. Brat Beauty Boutique
This a brand out of LA who’s CEO is 19 year old black queen Juannae. The lashes come in the perfect night out glam style called “Bad Lil Vibe”. They also have hair extensions and trendy accessories.

  3. Ardell
We all know and love them and it’s for a reason. You can’t go wrong with Ardell Wispies. The brand has a great variety of styles to cover your general beauty looks. They’re also very accessible, relatively inexpensive, and sold literally everywhere.

  4. Elora Lane
A lash subscription service started by Kelly Rolland and her renowned makeup artist Sheika Daley. Your lashes arrive every week and you can always switch up the styles on your profile. They come in some really nice every day styles and of course full glam.

Pro TIp for people with petite eyes:
Look for lashes with short bands. Most lashes come way longer than your eye and require you cut them to fit. But when you get ones that are made for the outer corners or just generally short, you won’t have that hassle - just pop them on and go!
