Makeup Hacks For Medium-Deep Skin Tones

In “Makeup For Beginners” I answered a question from one of my lovely porcelain skinned viewers.

Here are some adjustments to those techniques for those in the olive-chocolate tones!

  1. Focus On The Highlight
Use a concealer a few shades lighter to brighten and bring forward the areas where you wouldn’t contour.

  2. Bronzer As Setting Powder
Use a bronzer to lightly set your cream layer for a glowing sun kissed finish.

  3. Go Bright With Blush
Skin rich with melanin calls for blush rich with pigment. It may look crazy in the pan but trust - it’s going to look stunning on you!

  4. Blush As Eye Shadow
Go with an orange blush, and it’s also the perfect color to naturally brighten your eyes! Sweep across the lid for a subtle summer pop!

  5. Get The Right Gloss
Monochrome is in. Keep the orange going with your gloss for a look that brightens and enhances without being over powering.
